Looks like a thorough summary.curlshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07752600082066932253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17981668.post-1138878688295184862006-02-02T11:11:00.000+00:002006-02-02T11:11:00.000+00:00Here's the present situation as I understand it:Ja...Here's the present situation as I understand it:

James Hawes feels he'll be more effective as a director, not producer on Torchwood. Torchwood's replacement producer has now been chosen, but RTD won't disclose the identity, but does reveal its a man. There was a huge production meeting in mid-January, where all of the writers of Torchwood met (RTD won't tell us who they are for the time being). The series is sheduled to begin filming in April, and because it doesn't have the same number of special effects as Doctor Who, it will take a lot less longer to film. Whereas Doctor Who films for nine months, Torchwood will only film for six. This means that the series will be available for a September airdate, and my guess would be around the September 10-17th mark, as this is the period of time in England where the autumn shedule begins, and what better way to begin the shedule than with Torchwood. September is roughly 13 weeks after the end of Doctor Who, and would mean Torchwood finishes the week before Christmas, ready for the Doctor Who 2006 Christmas Special, and the 13 week countdown to series three. It also means that John Barrowman is free to record scenes for Doctor Who in the September - December block (as he posted on his own website) meaning we can expect to see Jack back in Doctor Who season three around episodes 4 and 5! Result. Phew, my brian's hurting now. Torchwood is like one giant jigsaw, piecing together information to complete the puzzle. I think you'll agree that most of what I said supports recent evidence and will most likely be correct. Until next time...!Anthony Garnonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03455857962928335916noreply@blogger.com
