(In his blog, writer James Moran made sure to point that out, and said there was only minimal blurring. The best argument for Blu-Ray DVDs I've ever heard.)

Anyway, the show just keeps getting better and better. Lois Habiba continues to be awesome (although I disagree that she is better than Martha and Tosh. Her "I'm a P.A..." was great, and her writing is consistently good (which, admittedly, is more than we can say for Martha/Tosh), but all we've seen her do so far is use someone else's easily-obtained log-in information and snoop around a government database. Oh, and y'know, commit treason. But still...)

Speaking of the database: Gwen's birthdate, parents' names... oh, sweet, sweet canon!!!

The "sexy assassin", as I belive RTD called her... hmm, I'm not really feeling it. She's kind of blah, to be honest.

Loved the returns of Ianto's sister/brother-in-law, and Jack's daughter. I really hope they continue to play important parts in the upcoming episodes.

Rhys and potates and "Edward", and haplessly charming PC Andy.

AND IANTO WEARING A HARDHAT AND DRIVING A TRACTOR AND HAVING PERFECT TIMING TO RESCUE CONCRETE!JACK... Was rather concerned that Ep2 would be slightly less edgy than Ep1 - but I for one, was on the edge of my seat throughout. As for Lois, yes she appears to be a natural for Torchwood, but what does the week hold out for her as a character?

As an aside, I saw an interview with RTD, about the controversy over the cut from 13 to 5 episodes, he stated that BBC One dramas (excepting Saturday evenings) don't have 13 week runs, usually 6 , 8 or 10 weeks (Waking The Dead, Silent Witness etc), so even if BBC decide to keep TW (as we all wish) it will have reduced shows, but one would hope with the same if not increased budget.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17330210172455905938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17981668.post-7761525034906784972009-07-08T13:43:26.569+01:002009-07-08T13:43:26.569+01:00So much is happening, it feels as if an entire ser...So much is happening, it feels as if an entire series has been condensed into the five episodes.

I'm enjoying it non the less. Still gutted about Rupesh, would've liked to see more of him! There was a fair amount of male nudity/toplessness this episode, not that that's a bad thing!

Ianto's brother-in-law shouting that he's married and thus Ianto wouldn't be found in bed with him! Lol.

The reforming of Jack in the body bag was a bit chilling I must saying. And the bad guy woman (dunno her name) she's great, kind of terminator like. I love it.

Bring on day three!!!tribeHeavenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05844808506081847065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17981668.post-8333849430205650072009-07-08T13:07:02.924+01:002009-07-08T13:07:02.924+01:00Tonight's episode seemed to have a few more pl...Tonight's episode seemed to have a few more plot holes than ep.1 (ie the innacuracy of government snipers; and Ianto managing to sneak onto the base and drive a ruddy great industrial machine up outside the building without being noticed) but I still loved it.

Am really enjoying the pacing of the story and the way it's unfolding - also loved seeing the way Ianto's brother-in-law and nephew came to the rescue to help his sister get out of the house and escape police surveilance!richardwattshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09950174268698168041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17981668.post-10907128475494108852009-07-08T04:41:31.251+01:002009-07-08T04:41:31.251+01:00Two for Two!
