The journal seems to indicate that: (highlight invisitext) the Institute came across Jack roughly a century ago and kept him in a cryogenic cell waking him up once a year to check in. Very fascinating, yes? Perhaps clever readers can even find some other clues hidden within these few released pages. As always, feel free to share your thoughts on what the final three episodes of the series may yet have in store for us.

I doubt this is tied to the journal's story but the PDF's document author is "francr01"
I don't know... I mean is it even about Jack? Hard to tell [somehow I'm having a hard time picturing him letting himself be hybernated for a year every year...]weird... and fascinating!
interesting............ confuses absouloutly everything, but interesting! If this was 1953? (cnt remember da date) then this is after wwII, but not nessicarly in Jacks past. They say without memories, ties in wid the whole the time agency wiped his memory, but i thought it sounded like he had woken up wid two years gone, not nothing! Phew, this is exhausting!!!!! CNT WAIT FOR ALL TO BE REVEALED!!!!!!!!!
It doesn't seem like him, but it might be to stop him meeting himself as I don't think at that point he had a time machine
