A quick heads up; a number of Woolworths stores across the United Kingdom are selling copies of the complete Torchwood series one DVD boxset - a full week before it's supposed to hit shelves. I was alerted to the early leak via the OutpostGallifrey forum, and immediately set out to my nearest store, in Cheetham Hill, which had about five copies ready to sell.
I bought one, for £47, and have spent the day watching the special features.

It's a swell boxset (if only I hadn't bought the three individual DVDs earlier on in the year, I wouldn't be almost £100 out of pocket now!) The only downside about the whole thing is Woolworths crappy secrurity tag - the way it's stuck on the front cover means part of the boxset tears away when you peel it off.
But a week early ain't so bad. Get to Woolies now!

I already have the seperate 3 DVDs, but is there anything on the boxset that you can't get on the seperate discs???

You don't get the 13 commentaries, or Torchwood Declassified, on the individual DVDs. Hope that helps!

popping down to the woolies in alty tomorrow to see if they're selling it (and to gaze at it - as you do) but I can't afford to pay £47 for it, I'll just get it for less than £40 from asda...shame about the cover thing though...ah well, a week to gaze and then forever to watch over and over again! :D

They close all of the Woolworth in the US .

Great extras. But I was really hoping for Naoko Mori to do a commentary on either "Greeks Bearing Gifts" or "Captain Jack Harkness".
Can anyone confirm whether the UK release is region 2 and region 4?
I have a copy winging it's way downunder and hope I will be able to play it!
