Thanks to everybody who took part in the survey! They would have been published as early as last month, if it weren't for work commitments and the re-drafting of a script I'm currently in the midst of. But nevermind all that... it's here at last!
Let's start, shall we?
RATE THE EPISODES
This year's winner didn't quite reach the height's of last year's "Captain Jack Harkness" (which scored a very impressive 9.20/10) but on average, the results are considerably higher this year. For example, only two episodes scored less than an average of 7/10 this time around.
All results are an average mark out of ten:
1: "Fragments" 9.11/10
2: "Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang" 8.48/10
3: "Exit Wounds" 8.42/10
4: "Reset" 7.69/10
5: "Adam" 7.65/10
6: "Something Borrowed" 7.53/10
7: "To the Last Man" 7.52/10
8: "Adrift" 7.49/10
9: "A Day in the Death" 7.46/10
10: "Dead Man Walking" 7.15/10
11: "Sleeper" 7.03/10
12: "From Out of the Rain" 6.81/10
13: "Meat" 6.66/10
Last year's season average was 7.416/10 - this year that figure was up to 7.615 (up almost 1.0275%), suggesting that - on average - fans are more satisfied with this latest run of adventures.
If we were to add the scores for both season one and two together, it'd form a league table of the most popular to the least popular adventures (on average) so far - like so!
1: "Captain Jack Harkness" 9.20/10
2: "Fragments" 9.11/10
3: "End of Days" 8.96/10
4: "Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang" 8.48/10

60% of the top ten episodes are from the show's second series.

BEST ACTOR/ACTRESS

Thanks for the comments guys and gals - really couldn't have done it without you!!
And there we go, we've sat and watched 13 (sometimes) fantastic episodes of science-fiction fantasy drama, and we've heard what worked, and what might not have worked so well.
You might agree with the results of this survey. You might not. Let us know in the comment section below!
Here's to 2009; though, with just a one-story/five episode arc being produced, God only knows how we're going to cover it!

Yay for the reader awards!!
Love Katie's comment "Still not enough Ianto" - very true!
And Kai need's a special catagory of his own, it's unfair to put him against the main cast. He wasn't in it enough... He deserves more votes!!
So here's my new catagory:
BEST NOT-QUITE-MAIN-CAST-BUT-MORE-THAN-A-GUEST-STAR:
Kai Owen (Rhys Williams)
Tom Price (PC Andy)
Paul Kasey (Various)
er...can't think of any others...
I vote Kai!!! :)
Anyone want to vote?
So exciting to see these posted...and to see my quote! Thanks so much. Just can't wait until the next series.
Brian
I believe my comment was something like, "next year's gotta be better." or something equally pithy. I couldn't agree less with most of the ratings. IMHO there were only 4 eps worth watching more than once and the Owen arc wasn't any of them. OotR might edge out Shoes for worst episode if just for the plot holes and those STUPID candles. Can't even say I'm holding my breath for the mini series because who knows when BBCA will air it. S2 was so hit & miss that I'll probably watch the 1st hour and let it determine whether I watch the rest.
Such a shame really; TW had such potential. Oh well, at least we got Janto.
Kryswynusa, the quotes all went un-edited - so I'm afraid you're mistaken!!
Of all the other comments submitted, there was just the one edit made - to a really long, racist remark made about the character of Tosh. It was totally unacceptable in everyway, nevermind that it over ran quite dramatically.
Said person's comment only *just* made it onto the site; trimmed down as to be not-racist at all!
If that person ever feels the need to say those things again, however, I'll just delete their worthless slur from my inbox!!
But... anyhoo... you're message was lovely!
Ant.
:D I've been looking forward to seeing these results posted! [And seeing my quote up there is very nice too :p]
Perhaps another poll of some sort is in the making? ['Best Alien as played by Paul Kasey'; 'How much longer until PC Andy gets completely fed up and Just Fixes Everything?'...; )]
