It looks like all the other big WHO conventions are snubbing the HUB staff (or the other way around more likely) so this might be your only shot at massing together with other like-minded Woodies. With only six months left to go this event will sneak right up on you, so no time like the present to start working on your Myfanwy costume!

TorchCon
Though it is still several months off, it is never too early to start making plans for the first Torchwood convention! OK admittedly the Torchwood guests at the forthcoming July 2007 Bad Wolf event have to share the stage with folks from the parent show, but we all will get along ok. Already booked for this 10th Planet convention in Manchester are Gareth David-Lloyd (Ianto) and Murray Melvin (Billis.)

Just checked out the prices for the Bad Wolf convention. Why doesnt someone do a convention that the tickets are cheaper. My OH and me just cannot afford £40 each on our wages.
When/where is the Torchwood convention going to be? I'd love to go to it.
Well not sure if we have the resources yet here at Torchwood.TV to run a convention, but I'm sure we could host a few people in my frontyard, and get cardboard cutouts of John and Eve.
The reason tickets are around the £40 mark is so that us organisers can covers the costs of running the convention e.g. hiring of the venue, paying the guests fees and transportation and all the behind the scenes stuff that the con goer does not see but still has to be paid for.
The Lis Sladen Event on Saturday the 3rd March in Glasgow at the Quality Central Hotel click here for website e.g. is £40.
