Your Torchwood Needs You!

... just not right now!

The official BBC Torchwood site has had a very swanky update, with information about the team, news, episode and making of guides ... plus an intriguing section saying they may be recruiting in January and to check back regularly.

So will you be applying? What skills could they possibly be looking for? Does living in Cardiff already give me a head start?

Watch this space!

yes however if you live outside the UK they have now blocked/restricted the entire site (not just video content) so that only UK residents can view

There is supposed to be a online Torchwood game running throught series 2 (a interactive storyline or something like that, with new games each week) and that it is to test our skills to see if we are good enough to join/be part of the team?

i am guessing that is what the jobs page is all about, although i could be wrong.

Here we go again. Only the UK residents can access the site. It would nice to open it up to the rest of us (I'd even pay a fee there and for the YouTube stuff).

There's a facility on the website that non-UK residents can use to send comments to the BBC. If enough of us complain, they might unlock the site for us. They might be planning to do this anyway once it also starts screening on BBC America, but it doesn't hurt to let them know some TW fans live in further flung corners of the world too, and buy DVDS and other merchandise.

Ok then chaps .... if you cant see this stuff, woudl you like us to report in more detail . screen grabs or such? I dont want to be spoiling for those that can access, but appreciate a lot also cant! Do let the team here at TW.tv know and we can plan a suitable solution for you all.

As a non-UK resident, I for one say yes, please, screen grabs of the official website posted here, and anything else you can get away with!

How on earth does restricting news and cast info infringe copyright?! It's also not exactly doing much to promote the series to those of us overseas who are following it, and still waiting for local TV to even bother showing the first series.

I just had a play around on the official site, and if you click on the "text only" link in the top right hand corner, you can navigate around and access the wallpapers and some info. Better than nothing for those of us outside the UK!

I'm another non-UK resident, I would love it if you guys could bring the content to us, in whatever way you can!
