Things are hotting up Stateside, as BBC America prepares to launch the second season of Torchwood tomorrow night, during its "Supernatural Saturday" fixture. The Doctor Who News Site collects together a lot of American press items here (credit to Josiah Rowe). One of the many highlights is TV Guide's interview with James Marsters.
"Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang" airs tomorrow night on BBC America.
In other news, the family repeat of Torchwood attracted 0.9 million people last night. 1.0 million folk were watching the Torchwood Declassified episode afterwards.
"Sleeper" gained an AI of 85, which puts it in the "excellent" category.

Well that makes sense. :D
Most Americans have probably seen both episodes on YouTube, but enjoy all the same!
An alien with the power to change memories infiltrates Torchwood, in this week's instalment of Doctor Who writer Russell T Davies's award-winning drama. It's up to the team to save themselves before it's too late.
With Captain Jack caught up in memories of his lost family, and Gwen struggling to remember Rhys, it takes Jack's love of Ianto to reveal the truth. But there's always a price to pay.
Captain Jack is played by John Barrowman, Gwen by Eve Myles, Rhys by Kai Owen and Ianto by Gareth David-Lloyd.
Press release for Adam (which I won't be watching)
Whoa. The Jack childhood family part I knew about, but the Gwen/Rhys, Ianto/Jack stuff has me even more excited about this episode (which I will be watching)
I am a big fan of Torchwood, but I really dislike the gay theme. I loved James Marsters in Angel. But a gay lover to Jack eck. I didn't like Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. If that will be the agenda of otherwise good show we will not be watching anymore. I know we are just 2 people but we are average viewers and there are others who think the same thing. Liz
I'm waiting (still) for evidence of Jack's "omnisexual" nature that was so talked about at the beginning of s1 and is mention in all the character bios. I don't object to gay love, on or off screen, but the Jack/Ianto thing is so gratuitous and so unnecessary to the story line. They don't air the family TW here, but I bet the story loses nothing but titilation value when drop the same sex kisses (between ANY of the TW team).
In KKBB the other thing that really bothered me was Capt Hart's dialog using refs toStar Wars and Seinfeld. Are we expectedvto believe that "yadda yadda yadda' survives into the 51st century?
