Preview: Episode Four

What's it called?

Who's it credited to?

Catherine Tregenna, writer ("Out of Time", "Captain Jack Harkness") and Colin Teague, director ("Ghost Machine", "Sleeper")

What do we know?

Rhys is introduced to the Torchwood team, as he helps them investigate a mysterious supply of meat that's hit Cardiff...

Major guest stars?

Kai Owen hogs the limelight as Rhys Williams. His own episode, at last!

Reviewing the reviews

Mixed, at best. Supposedly, it's a great episode for Kai Owen, who gets to show his acting en force. Less successful, we're told, is the story's science-fiction element.

When's it on?

Tonight, BBC Two @ 9pm. It's then repeated at 11:00pm over on BBC Three, and again tomorrow (BBC Two) from 7pm.

What about America?

"Meat" airs on BBC America Saturday 16th February, at 9pm. The BBC America schedule can be found here. You can also catch the episode in High Definition - on HD-Net - March 3rd.

Look to the future...

Next week's episode is "Adam", as we meet the latest recruit to Torchwood Three "Adam" - but he's not what he seems. Nothing is as it seems; not anymore... Following that, Martha Jones is back in "Reset", and nothing will ever be the same again for one member of the team...

Excitement level?

***1/2 - More Rhys, which is always a good thing. Shame the trailer last week didn't look too great. Guess we'll see. It is Miss Tregenna, after all :)
