You Are The Weakest Link...

Anybody watching the travesty that was Eurovision: Making Your Mind Up last night would have seen John Barrowman acting as a panel observer; watching as pop foursome Scooch won the chance of a million to represent Great Britain in this year's Eurovision in Finland, around May time.

SCOOCH - THE LESS SAID, THE BETTER...

The thing about John Barrowman is that he's a busy man; very busy. So busy infact, that he's going to be popping up all over the place in the coming weeks - in the build up to the debut of Doctor Who's third series (which sees the return of John at the beginning of June) Thanks to the ever reliable jb.com for the update.

First up is an appearence on the Richard and Judy show on March 29th. John infamously appeared on the show in January 2006, where he dropped a few hints about the then forthcoming Torchwood, and his recent appearences on ITV's "Dancing on Ice". No doubt this time he'll reveal a little of what Jack's been up to since that cliffhanger at the end of "End of Days"...

Then, the very next day there's an early morning appearence on the 30th March edition of BBC Breakfast. It's expected that John will discuss his role on BBC One's "Any Dream Will Do" programme, which begins the very next day. As does a certain programme called "Doctor Who"...

To celebrate the Time Lord's return, a celebrity edition of "The Weakest Link" with the ever formidable Anne Robinson transmits on 30th March,on BBC One between 8:30pm and 9:30pm. Recorded back in December 2006, the show sees an appearence by John Barrowman - although nobody knows how far he got, or indeed who eventually won the programme. I'm told by various sources that the winner will "surprise everybody". Intrigued? I sure am!

With John Barrowman's return to Doctor Who currently set for the first week of June, expect more John-centric interviews in the coming weeks. For now, why not sit back and enjoy the latest Doctor Who series three trailer. After all, it's not often that two worlds collide...

Or rather, three worlds as the case will turn out to be...

My friend knows a member of Scooch, he used to run an armature dramatic club up here in the North East. She left them on somewhat bad terms though, so I dunno if he is very nice. I also remember them appearing on Nickelodeon way-back-when... I think in the late '90s or early '00s. They may have appeared on CBBC at some point too.

There will be even more of John that weekend - apparently he will also be on the Charlotte Church Show on 30th - that'll get him some welsh vowels.

This website has inspired me to make my own website dedicated to Torchwood! Although it is a minor site compared to this amazing site, it would be cool if you came to my website.

I hope you don't mind me pasting that!

Apparently, Scooch had two backing singers backstage, hidden from view. I didn't think they could get any worse. I feel pity for JB having to sit through that and think hard about something good to say about it!
