Friday Night's Rule

A quick news update on the Torchwood front, before I take a well earned break from all things Torchwood tomorrow.

It's now been confirmed on both John Barrowman's official website and the BBC Press Office site that the star is due to appear on BBC One's "Friday Night With Jonathan Ross" show on 10 November, at 10:35. John will be there to discuss Torchwood in full, as well as his return to the world of Doctor Who in season three. His fellow guests include Emma Thompson and the Mighty Boosh. Be there or be square!

John's also making an appearence at this year's Royal Variety Performance, where he'll be singing before Their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall. The show takes place at the London Coliseum on December 4th, but alas, tickets have already sold out. Expect a transmission on Sunday evening BBC One some time afterwards though...

Some "Ghost Machine" gossip too, courtesy of DigitalSpy's "Tube Talk" column. Writer James Welsh teases us by saying the following:

SPOILER ALERT! LOOK AWAY NOW!

Guess where Captain Jack lives? Why it's Torchwood. And he never sleeps either... Meanwhile Gwen is going to get some one-on-one tuition with her gun training this week - but is her relationship beginning to suffer?

Bonus scoop conundrum (invisotext):

One of the following is true, the other bogus.
1. Owen turns killer
2. Gwen turns killer

And that's about it from me today. I'll shut up now, and walk away from my computer for the first time in days. The past month or so has been so Torchwood heptic that it seems I'm never far away from the computer screen nowadays. I'm enjoying a short trip tomorrow, away from the site, but shall return on Sunday all freshed and ready for the next fix of Torchwood.

Until then, adios amigos...

Um, I hate to point out the obvious but in the trailer for "Ghost Machine" it has Owen saying "I'm gonna killl you" so wouldn't that make it Owen?!?
