Perhaps most interesting was seeing the Extrapolator surfboard onboard the TARDIS. This seems to up-end any theories saying Jack rode it back through time after Parting of the Ways. We also saw a fancy Torchwood lab under the Thames Flood Barrier complete with a hole drilled to the Earth's core. They seem to get all the staff and resources in London don't they? At Torchwood Cardiff, one person takes the night off and we're all done for.
Feel free to speculate away, we are less than a week away now from the series finale/cliffhanger. Might as well get it all out now, before the show breaks for season two.
Plus a reminder that the first Torchwood DVD featuring episodes 1-5 and some deleted scenes was released today at all the finer shops, or online at Amazon through the handy link at the top left.

I was so convinced that the 'Jack and the extrapolator' theory was right. Maybe, you know the whole jounal thing on the extranet is about jack arriving in a whole different time, and he waits until 2006(or wenever he becomes head of torchwood), and he decides on that time cos he remembers Rose and the Doctor? just a new theory. Any other thoughts?
Also, i was almost in tears with him remembering Rose, just, I dunno, was sad........ :(

this is my extremely flawed theory of what may happen:
i reckon that jack might go on the run or something after the finale and then doctor who series 3 will lead up to another torchwood thing (perhaps with the black dalek seen in the coming soon?) except this time it's torchwood in cardiff seeing as jack's in multiple eps of series 3 at the end.
