Some Little Reminders...

For any Woodie out there with a High Definition television set, and who may have missed the first opportunity to see Torchwood in the HD format, BBC HD have scheduled a repeat seaon of Torchwood - beginning on Thursday 25th January, and subsequently running every Thursday and Sunday there after.

This week's edition of OK! Magazine features photographs from John Barrowman and Scott Gill's civil partnership ceremony. In attendence were Russell T Davies (and his own partner) along with the rest of the Torchwood cast. Barrow-ites out there, OK! Magazine is a weekly publication; so you better hurry and get your copy now. It's priced at... hell, as if I'd know. It's expensive stuff, lets put it that way! But worth every penny!!!

It looks as though John Barrowman has had to pull out of a couple nights of his panto, "Jack and the Beanstalk". The star attempted to soldier on after contracting a chest infection - but it looks like the illness may have gotten the better of him. Rest well John - and I hope you're back on your feet again, with full health, before too long.

After all, John's got a busy couple of weeks ahead of him; not only is he presenting E! Television's forthcoming BAFTA red carpet show, but he's set to host Elaine Paige's Radio 2 show on both the 11th and 18th February (thanks to johnbarrowman.net).

On top of all that, he's set to return to the Doctor Who fold shortly. The number of episodes he's in is still up for speculation; but we do know one thing - he's definately in the season finale two part adventure. Check out the new and improved episode guide for more information.

In totally unrelated news, voting's still going strong for the Torchwood.TV awards. If you still haven't cast your votes, then there's still time! Voting closes January 31st - so visit this handy page for information on how you could have your say on all things Torchwood! The results will be posted here early February sometime - but I can reveal (after an early vote count) that the results are going to surprise a good number of you...

Elsewhere, look out for a couple of new features coming your way over the next few weeks on this very site. "Ask the Woodies" is your opportunity to email any potential Torchwood based questions to myself - and I'll do my best to answer them. There's also an amusing new series, "Coping With ithdrawal" - a step by step guide to how Woodies everywhere can cope with their Torchwood Withdrawal symptoms now that the show's on it's end of series break. Look out for both of them in the upcoming weeks... as well as something else too.

But I'm keeping that under-wraps for the time being...

And that's just about it for now folks. Take care, and I hope to see each and every one of you again real soon!

Just managed to get OK! on the last day it was out, well worth the money. Interestingly Burn Gorman looks a lot nicer when he's not playing Owen (pardon my fetish for men in glasses!).

I've set reminders on my phone for re-tuning my radio on those two Sundays (oh how I wish he'd be on the Sunday before, it's my birthday!) and VERY jealous of you lot going to the panto...
