You may have read this story a few weeks ago in the South Wales Echo that Councillor Richard Foley representing Llanishen and Thornhill is leading the charge to name a new Cardiff shopping mall Torchwood! Foley is pushing the council leader Rodney Berman for the name and he needs our support. You can email Richard Foley here to express your agreement with his efforts and you can get a hold of leader Rodney Berman here to perhaps help persuade his opinion.
I'm sure they would be interested to read your thoughtful opinions on why Torchwood would be a great name for the future mall scheduled to open in 2009. With just a little help on our part, in just a few years time you might hear kids saying, "I'll be back in a few hours mum, I'm off to Torchwood to hang out and buy some new socks."
