The Burn Report

Since Torchwood wrapped, Burn Gorman has been busy shooting supporting roles for a few high profile films. Fred Clause starring Vince Vaughn as Santa's younger and less-than-perfect brother is slated for a November 2007 rollout. No word on what role Gorman is playing, he doesn't seem like he would make a good elf. For the wackos among you who may already be in the festive mood in February, a teaser trailer is up here.

Also featuring Gorman and being released late this year is The Oxford Murders starring Elijah Wood and John Hurt. The film is based on the detective novel of the same name and currently shooting in Oxford and London. And finally, Burn will have a role in ITVs Marple detective series. He will play Jacko Argyle in Agatha Christie's Ordeal by Innocence which should be broadcast in late April.

Don't know if anyone would have noticed this, but The Bill recently had a character named Owen Harper. Shame they couldn't have had him played by Burn Gorman...

as a total aside, the word verification for this message is mainly dvlc..an insult seeing as I just copped a speeding ticket in my (obviously none too secret) Landrover

bURN gORMAN IS AN ACTOR THAT, UNFORTUNNALLY, DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH CREDIT. BUT, I BELIEVE HE WILL GO FAR. HE HAS AN UNIQUE VOICE AND A TALAENT TO PORTRAIT STRANGE CARACTERS.
