I report this non-news only because of the complaints you do hear from fans about Captain Jack crossing over from Torchwood to WHO and the potential for more adult themes in the parent show. There is a reasonable debate we can have about that. As for the article in The Sun, it looks like they are referring to a solitary letter to DWM from Robert Mitchell of Brighton and dreamed up this "storm."
Barrowman always has fun in interviews. He is open and honest which is a real rarity with celebrities. We don't need any more interviews with stars promoting a new film and spouting out canned answers. To John if your reading, don't ever stop saying what's on your mind and, "Keep it up Big Guy!"

I'd like to point out that you've got the facts rather wrong.
Robert Mitchell actually wrote to Doctor Who magazine, not The Sun, and the Sun missed out vital points of his letter.
Mr Mitchell is in fact a gay individual who was simply concerned at the level of 'sauciness' in a magazine that may be read by children and his complaint was about the magazine publishing the comments rather than John saying them. If you read the letter, which you obviously didn't, you'll see he has no issue with John.

Thanks for the clarification and I've updated the post but what's with the nasty tone? I'm only reporting on the Sun article here which "shock" has some innacuracies.
The main point is that one person does not a "storm" make. We're not talking about DW Adventures magazine here at any rate, DWM is aimed to teen and adult fans.

The Sun quoted selectively and out of context, but your further comments about the letter writer were borderline libellous.
OK fair enough, even though I don't agree with Mitchell, as I feel the interview served to give a fun candid acurate look at JB aimed at teens +, I did jump to the apparently inacurate conclusion based on the Sun article that he was a Mary Whitehouse-school homophobe.
Have you noticed that the Google ad under this post is promoting the Sun, despite the tone of the post? LOL
Actually The Sun did not give an accurate look at JB or even Mitchell. They never give accurate views on anything good heaven you don't actually expect them to be journalists do you? They neglected to include the part where John says in the original DWM interview as saying (after one of the racier remarks) dont put that. The Sun also says it was Doctor Who bosses who apologized when it was in fact the editor of DWM.
I was talking about DWM, by pubishling the interview unedited it gave an accurate look at what Barrowman is like. A fun saucy guy.
I know the Sun is anything but accurate.
