The trailers show a number of different clips from the series, including the wonderful CSI-inspired ariel shots of Cardiff city. The advertising campaign will enter its second stage this August, when Torchwood images will be spread upon American billboards. A fifteen foot Captain Jack looking down on you? Exciting times, I guess...

8pm!! What are they thinking? Guess there will be some clip-clip going on -- or at least some silence-dubbing to cover some of the language. It was very cool to see the trailers yesterday. Although the trailers may show too much, for the general public who know nothing about what will happen, it makes the show look very slick and exciting.
Finally! I know I have friends who will watch - and it will mean the DVDs will finally be available here. Can't wait for Captain Jack to conquer America.
BBC America is a cable tv channel so they are not regulated by the FCC for content. Most cable channels self-regulate and save the more spicy faire for later in the evening but it is certainly not a legal requirement. So don't assume it will be edited for content. However, assume that it will be trimmed here and there to fit it into an hour slot with commercials.
Well some of the programming on BBCA is already spicy and pretty graffic, so I doubt if there will be a lot of censoring done.
At last John Barrowman will be returning to US television in his own series! Now if they'd only schedule him for guest spots on all the talk shows...
It would be nice if you would ask if you can use people's caps from OG. The PM function worrks there. And yes I can tell as the file name is still the same. I would of been happy to give you the whole clip if you had asked but I've seen this isn't the first time you've done this to other OG posters...
SORRY BUT WE HERE IN THE USA HAVE SEEN THE FIRST SEASON AND THINK ITS GREAT BUT LET SEEN HOW MUCH THE AMERICAN CENSORS WILL REMOVE AS THEY DO WITH ALL IMPORTS I HOPE EVEYONE HERE WILL SEE IT UNCUT
