One Week To Go...

Slow news season continues; but luckily I've actually got some site news (well, I say 'news'...) to post about today, to whittle away the time.

If you still haven't voted in the Torchwood.TV Awards voting is still open for another seven days, until next Wednesday. Click here for more information on how you could have your say on all things Torchwood. Oh, and for those of you who have voted I can confirm that the results will will seperated up into three categories, each posted on different days:

1: Best of the Best (February 2nd) - your pick of this year's best episodes, cast members, writers, directors, etc. Trust me, some of the results will blow you away!

2: Hall of Fame/Shame (February 7th) - a commentary on the best and worst of Torchwood season one; and better yet, all the comments are by you faithful readers.

3: Messages from the fans (February 9th) - what you lovely guys and gals wrote for the production team to read. Aww, some of you have wrote really sweet love letters (whilst others have filled their's with hate!) A selection of the best will appear online here...

In other site news, we'll be running a neat little feature on the site throughout February to find the "Average Woodie" - I want to survey Torchwood fans and learn exactly who's watching the series. More details closer to the time - so keep your eyes peeled.

Elsewhere, I'll take the opportunity to shamelessly plug my two Torchwood.tv sister sites (as if I hadn't already!) Sarah-Jane.tv - dedicated to the all new spin-off "The Sarah Jane Adventures" - and Doctor Who.tv - which does exactly what it says on the tin. Thank you to everybody who's supported the fledgling sites, and fingers crossed they have a very healthy future.

Sadly, I can exclusively reveal that there's no plans for a k9Adventures.tv. Do you hear that noise? It's the sound of nobody even caring! Come on, we're talking about a series that will very probably never get made...

If you've got any feedback at all about any area of the site (including my very own "Coping With Withdrawal" and "Torchwood Archives" features) then don't hesitate to contact either myself or Kurly on the usual addresses. We love to hear from our readers, cos - lets face it - we make this site for you; and its fantastic to hear your opinions.
